Shuttle Launch

The space shuttle finally blasted off on Sunday 15th March 2009.

It was an evening launch. All went well.

Their mission is to deliver the final set of power-generating solar array wings and a new crew member to the International Space Station.

STS-119 – Tonight at 7.43pm EDT

Sunday 15th March 2009 should see Discovery finally on her way to the International Space Station on mission 15A.

ujack4 UK viewers should be able to see the launch on Sky via. Fox News channel 509. Set your Sky+ to record 11pm and 12pm programs.
