Postponed Endeavour Flight to Los Angeles

As we first mentioned on Wednesday 22nd August 2012 the retired Space Shuttle Endeavour was due to begin it’s final journey to Los Angeles today, because of bad weather the flight by a carrier aircraft has been postponed until tomorrow September 18th.

Sad farewell to Endeavour Space Shuttle from Florida

The retired space shuttle Endeavour will be moving to the California Science Center in Los Angeles, California on September 17th 2012 it will be taken by the shuttle carrier aircraft.

You can view this event at the Visitor Complex at The Kennedy Space Center.

Second Attempt to Launch SpaceX Dragon Capsule Successful.

The original launch of the SpaceX Dragon capsule was postponed but it has now safely begun it’s journey to the International Space Station, where in 2 days it should reach it’s destination and begin procedures to offload it’s cargo to the astronauts currently on board the space Station.

Launch of SpaceX Capsule in Florida.

On May 19th 2012 a new commercial spacecraft will be launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Florida. The SpaceX’s Dragon capsule will be launched aboard a Falcon 9 rocket with the intention of flying to the International Space Station. It will then return to the Pacific Ocean once the mission is completed. For more information on this historic event please got to……

STS-127 ‘good to go’ Wednesday 17th June 2009

NASA have re-jigged the launce schedules and moved the departure of the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter  to June 18th.

Endeavour will now fly as STS-127 at 5:40 a.m. EDT Wednesday.

With sunrise on Wednesday at 06:28 am it should be a spectacular dawn launch.

Looking good for Space Shuttle STS-127

There is an 80% chance of acceptable weather on all three possible launch days Saturday June 13th 2009, Sunday and Monday at 07:17 EST. Endeavour will carry a 7 person crew for a 16-day five-spacewalk mission servicing the International Space Station on ISS Assembly Flight 2J/A.
